Posted on 22 Aug 2010 by Jen
I have just put up a brand new gallery layout! It was made by the incredible Jonna! I think it's out best gallery layout ever! It features the pictures from Yara's HTG81 kids shoot. Also thanks to Carrie, I've added a behind the scenes picture of Yara, Sayeed and Mackenzie Smith. Yara was there supporting Sayeed in his role on the tv show 100 questions. I've also been adding pictures of Yara at the Salt premiere, I just added 2 =)

Looks like we found out one of the projects Yara was talking about in her journal post =D IMDB just listed her in the new comedy show Sh*t My Dad Says. The lead character is played by William Shatner. Yara makes a guest appearence as a Girl Scout. The episode is set to air on September 23 2010, Make sure to watch.

On a different note, I updated the gallery with some new old pictures of Yara at the PARSA, 2009 awards, feel free to check them out.

New Journal Post

Looks like Yara updated her official site yesterday talking about butter:
I have just spent the last two months carving butter, working with Miss Jennifer Garner, Alicia Silverstone and a bunch of other really nice people and eating THE WORLD’S BEST CUSTARD!!! I am back in Los Angeles and gearing up for sixth grade to start for me. I had the best time and met some really wonderful people (Hi Mariah)! The director, Mr. Jim Field-Smith, is a really funny, smiley director who wears the coolest tennis shoes. He really helped me do my best job as an actress. I have been doing a bunch of other things this summer like: Modeling, reading, staring out the window, swimming and Voice over work. I will keep you posted and put up new pictures soon.

Take care!
She mentions that she's doing voice over work, I wonder what she's doing, I'll guess we'll have to wait-and-see.

Candid Shot + Jazz Fest

Posted on 07 Aug 2010 by Jen
Back in the beginning of June Yara and her Mom attened the Pick Fro's, Not Fights! UCLA Reggae Jazz Fest. There a photo from that, Yara looked so cute, she was even wearing a necklace with her name on it, how cute? I've also added a candid photo of Yara at Happy Bellys the Italian Ice Factory. Go check it out!

First Video: Butter!

Exciting news! The very first clip/video of Butter has been released! It's more of a interview with all of the cast, but they show some behind the scenes clips too! There unfortunatly isn't an interview with Yara but there is a clip of her! Check out the video below, she appears at 3:36!

EDIT: I've just added some caps to the gallery.

Posted on 30 Jul 2010 by Jen
Thanks to Tareyah for the heads up... Yara's shoot with HTG81 Kids is now featured on the HTG81 site! I added 11 pictures that were straight from the site, hopefully we can find some un-marked, original photos. Yara looks so grown up in them, so go ahead and take a look!

Salt Premiere

Posted on 20 Jul 2010 by Jen
Turns out Yara went to the Salt Premiere afterall! She looked gorgeous wearing a light colored summer dress and her hair in braids. The premiere was last night (July 19, 2010) at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA. There's only 10 pictures right now, but I'll be adding more as I find them =)
