While in Toronto, Yara did an interview for her movie Butter, it's a really cute interview and she talks about working with Butter and the fun cast. Thankyou Seb for getting us the clip! Today Yara is attending Variety's Power Of Youth event. Where she was named as Variety Youth Impact "Up Next"! Congrats to Yara!


"Butter" star Jennifer Garner was impressed by Shahidi's "natural affability" while on set. "There's a very natural intelligence in any performance that she gives," says Garner. "She's an old soul and a little kid all at the same time."

Butter Clip

A new clip of Butter was released yesterday. It's a quick clip of Jennifer Garner's character, Laura Pickler, saying her speech to get the people to vote for her butter sculpture. There a part where the camera pans over to Yara and you can see her at 0:31. Keep in mind this is a comedy movie, so even though her character is crying, it's still meant to be funny =)

We told you the Butter Premiere would be very soon!! And of course, our girl Yara attended! I love these pictures so much! Yara looks so stunning and beautiful, how amazing is that dress? Not to mention she wore it with the biggest, brightest smile ever! I'm so happy she had a good time, she must of loved seeing all her co-stars again! Check out all 72 pictures in the gallery. It's official, Yara's in Canada! She attended her first party yesterday and by the looks of it she had a blast! She got to see her fellow co-star Ashley Greene and play ping pong! check out the pictures she tweeted! There's also a pic of Yara infront of her room that has been added, thanks to Mrs. Shahidi!

Great news! Butter is having its Gala Premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month! I get to travel to Canada to walk the red carpet, answer some questions and hopefully have some time to goof off!

Yara walked the redcarpet for the premiere of The Lion King 3D yesterday. It seems like she had a lot of fun; posing with Sayeed and Lion King characters Timon & Rafiki. Looks like Yara got around to making a Twitter account today! How cool is that? Now we can informed by Yara of any important events or things she's up to. Aswell as some pictures!
